Some technical stuff.

I added a little extra in the showcase. Its a controller for ledstrips I had for a long while (2014!). It can make some nice lighteffects on a RGB strip which I build in the back of the base:

First I ordered my stuff on the back. Glued the wires and made 2 9 volt blockholders in series to get 18 volt DC for the RGB controler (which operates between 12 and 24V DC):

It is nice isn't it?:

Bougt dome flexibel paint tape in colour to lay over the strips in the case:

Pink in the middle, yellow in front and back. Here you look into the roof:

The effectmodule makes a fire in the background. There IS a war going on ;) :

And a small movie to see the effect:

More to come!

A little led testing!

Did some testing today. The big module has for testing purpose 1 strip of each; warm white 5050 with 60 led's per meter and a RGB strip, also 60 led's per meter.

Only the white colour:

With the RGB strip together:

White dimmed and the RGB colour to red:

The warm white colour of the RGB only:

You see, there are endless possibilities with these strips. I need more time to experiment with them to find the different setting. Also there will be a second set toward the background, that way the light will spread even over the total module.

Later more!

LED lights

I got my order today with led lightning strips and the equipment to control it with. It is not cheap but it gives great effects. I just got one strip on the front hanging, 3 more to go. I also mount a double strip on the back (i.e. one white and one colour):

Still needing to rework the edge of the wood.... ;)

Later more!
